Preschool Program

Our Pre-School classrooms are designed to provide an age-appropriate curriculum in a loving and nurturing environment. At this age we start to introduce a more structured academic experience. We encourage our teachers to provide many opportunities for the children to learn through hands-on experiences.

The children have a set schedule each day. The children in preschool are in groups for part of their day when learning Math concepts, engaging in Science activities and discovering their Art talents. They are able to enjoy large groups when singing during Music time, reading interesting books and participating in Circle time. With each academic concept our goal is to keep it simple and fun. We believe children learn best through fun and play.

Our Pre-kindergarten curriculum involves making sure our pre-schoolers are ready for kindergarten. These children are exposed to pre-reading and pre-math skills as well as the basics in foreign language. Our new computer lab introduces the children to the new world of technology. Our lab is equipped with new iMacs and iPads.

While we feel academic learning is important we all know that being prepared for kindergarten is more than just learning your ABC's. At ABC Daycare, we strive every day to promote good manners and problem solving skills to give your child confidence for the transition to Kindergarten. Our experienced teachers give your child the time and attention to provide a positive foundation for a lifetime of continued learning.
